Cloth Nappy Incentive Scheme
Some local councils offer a Real Nappy Incentive voucher scheme to encourage the use of reusable nappies over disposables. See the list below and contact your local council for details of any schemes in your local area.

Bells Bumz Eco Cloth Nappy Scheme is the first Nationwide scheme where you can apply regardless of where in the UK Mainland you reside. Bells Bumz wanted to launch this scheme as local council schemes are not equitable across the UK, meaning that you may not have a scheme where you live. Some local councils offer a Real Nappy Incentive voucher scheme to encourage the use of reusable nappies over disposables. However, not all councils offer this opportunity to give cloth nappies a go.

Council real nappy trials, incentive schemes and vouchers can range from a free kit, through to a free trial kit that you return, to £30 cash back or vouchers, Bells Bumz wanted to offer a national cloth nappy incentive scheme regardless of where in the UK Mainland you live.

1 baby can use up to 5,000 disposable nappies, 1 disposable nappy can take up to 300 years to degrade and throughout your babies time in nappies they can cost up to £1300. Cloth nappies are often a more affordable option, especially when you are likely to have future children or where you can sell on your preloved cloth nappies to new parents when you are done. Real nappies can help minimise waste and save you money.

Local Council Real Nappy Incentive Schemes
The schemes vary from council to council and some do not have schemes available. The ones listed below are the ones we currently know about. If you know of one that isn't listed please do let us know.

Where a voucher is offered you normally need to apply for this directly through the council before buying cloth nappies. Where a cashback is offered typically you need to send in a receipt (which we provide) to claim back the funds. Please do check with your council scheme and read their terms and conditions before buying cloth nappies if you plan to use one of these schemes. Links are provided below.
